About the Author

Hi, I’m Julie.

A cheesehead at heart, our family moved to Madison (from Minneapolis) in November of 2009. With winter knocking at the door, researching family-friendly fun in Southeast Wisconsin has now evolved into a three year research project.

Our family loves to take road trips in true Griswold’s fashion—being the Feed Me and Geocaching Editor for the online travel website Road Trips for Families is no coincidence.

As a member of the Midwest Travel Writers Association, Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers, and the Travel Mama with Madison Mamas, it seems like I’m always on the road or at my back at my desk. We’re seeing the world one story at a time!
